The successful candidate will receive a contract will report to, and
receive direction from, the individual as they self direct manage
their own service. This position is funded by HSE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO-
* Physical assistance with personal hygiene care requirements, light
domestic duties: laundry, shopping & meal preparation, routine light
general house cleaning work, etc
* Any other activities that facilitate the individual to live a
positive, active life and participate fully in their community.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
* Empathy with my needs and a positive approach to supporting
independent living
* Discretion and trustworthiness
* Competent in a professional environment
* Capacity to work on own initiative
WHAT I REQUIRE:
Please note this is NOT a medical or a specialist care role
* Minimum 5 modules completed at QQI Level 5 major award in a
Healthcare discipline or equivalent, or social care proof of
qualifications must be provided at interview
LANGUAGE:
* Good English both Verbal & Written (required)
* Because of the personal care duties involved in this role and in
